Rotary sliding vane and screw air compressor oil

Petro Castilla S are premium quality oils developed for the lubrication of rotary sliding vane and screw air compressors. They are based on specially selected base fluids and carefully selected additives.

ferric oxides and hydroxides, at high working temperatures and pressures. Such deposits can cause serious damage, lower compressors

efficiency and increase maintenance costs

Effectively protects and prolongs the service life of working components

• Safe air lines

In discharge air-lines, the combination of rust particles, dispersed in carbonaceous deposits, coupled with heat from recently compressed air,

can cause an exothermic reaction from which fire and explosion can occur. Petro Castilla help to prevent this danger arising.

• Good air release properties

Serve to avoid cavitation and maximize compressibility.

• Low foaming

Careful use of additives ensure quick air release without excessive foaming.

Oil Drain Periods

For many years, it has been accepted that the usual oil drain period for rotary vane and screw compressors in 2000 hours, and that operating temperature has a fundamental effect upon the rate of oil degradation through oxidation.

The use of Petro Castilla S,incorporating the latest technology, will allow the oil drain period to be extended to 2000 hours, even when operating at a continuous maximum discharge air temperature of 100ºC.

Internal Cleanliness

Coupled with the oil's long life capability is its ability to maintain excellent internal surface cleanliness in service. This is particularly relevant to the function and operation of the separator/coalescer.

Seal Compatibility

Petro Castilla S are compatible with all sealling materials used in air compressors.

Miscibility

Petro Castilla S are completely miscible with other mineral oils, and may be mixed in any proportion with other petro mineral air compressor oils.

Health & Safety

Petro Castilla S are unlikely to present any significant health or safety hazard when properly use in the recommended application, and good standards of industrial and personal hygiene are maintained.

Avoid contact with skin. Use impervious gloves with used oil. After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.

Take used oil to an authorized collection point. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
